The American system is NOT for you (The working class), it’s for the imperialists. America needs a system which is designed for the people by the people.
THIS IS NOT DEMOCRACY!
SOCIALISM FTW!
@genie0390 ~ well you ARE stupid! the majority of people in mass. are happy with their weak ass state run care. in fact the right’s messiah scott brown voted for it and ran promoting it.
the state run plan spends 25% less on overhead, that savings doesn’t go into profit for the state, it goes towards better care and savings for the consumer.
saying a government program, “loses money” is ignorant, it isn’t designed for profit so ceo’s can skim millions for their yachts and mansions.
@peterlows ~ 83% of the uninsured work. 2 and 3 jobs some of them. truth be told, most of the hypocrites like you are collecting a government check.
take your own advise hypocrite and get another job so your beloved free market can steal some more of the pie and leave you some crumbs. and then you can blame those with less for all your problems.
@Joxman2k
i believe we are all equal in Gods eyes. we all have the same worth. that does not mean that some people dont go to hell and some people dont go to heaven. as for this current debate of socialism, all im asking is for the govt to stop stealing money from me and giving it to others. if i want to help others, i will. it should not be required to do so.
@treez78
I was not suggesting that we are clones of each other. Being 6’4″ and tight abs is completely superficial. Does someone who is “uglier” than you equal being less important or valuable? Our differences are very small compared to our similarities.. and I’m not talking physical, monetary, intellectual or social.
:P
@treez78 If it weren’t for the recession, I would have let those corporations go. Clear away the old and busted to make room for the new. GM particularly is garbage, they haven’t made a worthwhile vehicle since the 80′s. From what I can tell, their philosophy was to make cars first, and then make people want them, instead of building cars that people, the economy, and the world needed. That fail philosophy came to bite them in the ass, hard.
@treez78 I can see where you’re coming from. I don’t disagree with you about letting those companies and banks fail. I honestly would have felt better if they all crashed and burned. However, those corporations were directly responsible or directly affected by the recession. Those corporations were bailed out and saved to save people’s jobs. If those companies and banks folded and millions of people lost their jobs, the US would have been in SERIOUS trouble.
@Jeridiculous
also, i do know what would have happened if we didnt bail them out. they would have failed and new and better companies would have taken their place. its called competition. the losers dont get rewarded with money! the bailout is the worst thing the govt could have done. now, not only will the companies lose their money, they will lose ours. then who is gonna bail us out? can u say World War III?
@Jeridiculous
the US has no money is correct! and what are the programs we owe over 80% of our debt on? well, they are the ones the govt put in place; medicare, medicaid, social security. u know, all the socialist entitlements. now our govt wants to add more. i dont think so, aint gonna happen. obama most certainly did nationalize those industries, do some research.
@treez78 You can’t say anything about bankrupt countries because the US has no money… and is now partially owned by China. First thing, Obama did not “nationalize” the auto industry, or the banks. You do know why this was done, right? Rampant corruption and terrible business practices. Do you know what would have happened if the govt didn’t bail them out?
@Jeridiculous
why do i not have the right to talk about bankrupt countries? its simply an observation. if having socialist govt controlled programs does not make a country socialist, please tell me, what does? our country has nationalized the auto industry, the banks, healthcare, etc… ever since obama has been president! he has done this within one year of taking office. thats the slippery slope i speak of
@boorens18
Congratulations.
You understand sarcasm.
No, really. You are one of the few that have
replied when I have done a sarcastic comment
and understood it was sarcasm instead of
taking it literary and arguing it on that basis.
@Dasconscripts Canada is not a
socialist country. What are you talking about? We’re further left of the States, and our government exercises more control and regulates more, but that simply makes our economy and markets more stable and secure.
@treez78 I don’t think you have the right to talk about “bankrupt countries”.
Having socialist government-controlled programs does not a socialist country make. What choices/freedoms does national healthcare strip away?
actually we are a socialist society socialism is a free market socity with MANY god given rights
Communism is the far far extreame of socialism where the goverment controls everything
@Jeridiculous
socialized medicine is a tenant of socialism. it will bankrupt your country AND strip away the peoples choices/freedoms. dont cheer for national health care and then deny socialism. the 2 go hand and hand. canada, my friend, is on a slippery slope.
These issurance companies really love these poor trash tea baggers the uneducated could help out for nothing.I know the insurrance companies love those retarted inbread bastards
you can’t really say better, i’d say socialised medicine is more efficiant than capitalized medicine but it would cost more for the community rather than the individual.
so basically if you have an astounding injury with a large hospital bill, the community will help pay for it and you pay them equally back which makes things cheaper for you BUT if you’re perfectly fine with no sickness nore a chance of injury, you’re giving money to sick people.
we also have police instead of mercenaries.
@tardigrade6
You can if you can pay cash to hospital,clinics,etc.
@Silveracity Healthcare should not be a for-profit thing. In the end, private companies only care about one thing – profit. Whether you get better or not. I think the results speak for themselves. People living in countries with national healthcare have longer lifespans.
We in the Netherlands have a system similar to the one proposed in the Senate bill. We have a private health care system, but insurance companies are by law obliged to provide cover to everyone, and you must have insurance. Some peoples premiums are subsidised by the Gov. The problem is, of course, that some dont want insurance and must get it. Also, the prices of premiums have gone up.
@saper321: These bombshells have been dropping on a weekly basis for as long as I’ve followed the news from the US.
“the richest? 1% could be taxed @ 50% and they would still have a better lifestyle than the poorest 99%”
Ok Robin Hood
@Jeridiculous
Was asking for proof on your statement:
” Socialized medicine is better than capitalized medicine”
“better” is Subjective isn’t it?
@treez78
