I love that this video has nothing to do with any of the REAL issues – but hey if you can’t gain the voters with real facts and common sense why not charm them with humor. I’d love to see a video about the BIAW….we could call it “The Sad Little Group Who Lost its Friends and Stopped Making Millions Off of Taxpayers & L&I” Sadly this one isn’t a comedy – it’s a tragedy.
Thank God were finally doing this. This will save small business’s and shrink gov’t. Beware after this passes L&I will have to come up with a new way to pay for that expensive building they built over there
Passing I-1082 will only temporarily lower worker’s comp taxes. Look what is going on right now in CA where they changed to allow private insurers years ago! Now rates are going back up! Rates likely would drop as competition undercuts to get business, but in order to keep rates low they will need to either deny more claims or cover less in benefits. Remember AIG? They are the nation’s largest worker’s comp insurer and they DID go bankrupt! Do we want that in WA?

Great video but sadly true. And this is just one facet of the L&I monopoly (Electrical licensing, prevailing wage, etc.) There is a reason our attorney calls L&I the Mafia. The voters need to wake up and spank L&I hard.
